are allowed to enter the track.
Mandatory Drivers Meeting:
All
racers must attend the driver’s
meeting.
Mandatory Rule:
Scoring tower and flag stand are
off-limits during race events.
Discussion of Calls:
All
decisions made by track officials
are final and not open to debate.
After all race activities are done
for the evening (final checkered
flag is waved); you may approach the
race director/flagman in a calm,
productive manner to discuss why
a certain call was made if you
disagree. We are not perfect and
are open to constructive criticism
that can improve our racing program.
BLACK FLAG:
A
driver may receive a black flag for
one of these reasons, but not
limited to these reasons: [Rolled
black flag is a “warning”; the Waved
black flag means you must leave the
track!]
1. You have caused 2 or more
cautions in a race.
2. Rough Driving.
3. It is determined that your
kart may not be safe to continue
racing.
4. If a member of your crew
approaches the flagman or scoring
tower during a race.
5. Stopping, spinning out, or
pausing on the track in an attempt
to bring out the yellow flag.

that race. Under discretion of BFS
Kart Officials.
Protest Fee and Requirements:
A
$75 cash protest must be presented
to the tech official prior to any
tech (within 3 minutes of the
completion of his/her race). If the
engine protested passes tech, $75
will go the racer/owner being
protested. If the engine protested
does not pass tech, the protester
receives his/her $75 protest fee
back. Only protest money that will
be accepted by the tech official
will be from a driver (or owner)
entered in the same class as being
protested. IF you intend to protest
an engine, you should approach the
tech official prior to the
completion of a race in order that
the kart can be impounded at the
scale area and not be taken back to
his/her pit area.
